Neida Adriana Aguilar is a first-generation Mexican-American artist, photographer, creative director, and fashion designer raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. Her work is rooted in storytelling—using conceptual and surreal imagery to explore identity, mental health, cultural memory, and personal growth, with a focus on communities often left unseen.
Through photography and creative direction, Neida creates emotionally driven visuals that challenge perception and spark dialogue, drawing from both personal experience and collective narratives. Her work exists at the intersection of art, fashion, and social commentary.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago with a focus on Creative Industries and Photography. Currently, Neida works as a Talent Manager at a modeling and talent agency, freelances in brand and social media strategy, and contributes to the Chicago Fashion Coalition’s events and operations team. Her creative practice has also been shaped by international experience, collaborating with brands and artists abroad.
At the core of Neida’s work is a commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and inspiring the next generation of Latino creatives to tell their own stories.
